DESCRIPTION:We went on strike for the Inauguration\, and now we’re doing it again in coordination with women in 30 countries for International Women’s Day on Wednesday\, March 8\, 2017.  National Women’s Liberation joins organizers of the January Women’s Marches in calling for this international day for women’s freedom and dignity\, #DayWithoutAWoman. Join us! \nWe urge you to find a way to take part. Strike by pulling back from paid or unpaid work that day. Show this country and the rest of the world that ALL women’s work is valuable- and will not be taken for granted. Sign up to strike here. \nIn New York: Washington Square Park\, 4:00 – 8:00 pm. \nIn Gainesville\, Florida: Join us for a picket and speakout at the SW corner of 13th St. and University Ave. from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
