SUMMARY:Virutal Consciousness-Raising on the 2020 Election
DESCRIPTION:Sundays\, Oct 11th\, 18th\, 25th (times listed below)\nRSVP required \nJoin National Women’s Liberation (NWL) for our upcoming virtual consciousness-raisings (CR) on the upcoming election. We invite all women to participate regardless of their voting status. \nIn CR women answer questions from their own experience\, and then the group uses these testimonies to find the political roots of women’s so-called “personal” problems. CR participants (regardless of voting status) will answer these questions: \n\nWhat is your personal stake in the upcoming election?\nAre you motivated to vote?\nHas it changed since previous election cycles?\n\nPlease RSVP through Eventbrite. The CRs will be hosted through Zoom\, and participants will receive a link to join prior to the event. The Oct 18th CR will be led by the Women of Color Caucus and is for women of color only. \n\nSunday\, Oct 11th\, 3:00-5:00pm\nSunday\, Oct 18th\, 4:00-6:00pm: women of color only\nSunday\, Oct 25th\, 3:00-5:00pm\n\nParticipation is free.
