We’ll also read and discuss a short article from the Redstockings Archives on the largely hidden history of how women won abortion in the U.S.: not because Supreme Court justices were nice to us\, but through speak outs\, disruptions\, and bold demands of women’s liberation organizers in NYC and beyond in the late 1960s. \nWe’ll be meeting at The Commons in Brooklyn\, 388 Atlantic Avenue between Hoyt and Bond\, near the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street A/C/G.
