Gainesville, FL Push Back Against Reopening Schools

Car Caravan and Rally for Safe Reopening,Tuesday, July 21@ 4 pm and 5 pm. Families and teachers in Gainesville will be coming together to demand that the Alachua County School Board leadership prioritize the lives of our students and teachers before re-opening schools.

Car Caravan coordinated by A-Tiger leaves at 4 pm: This event is especially for people who are uncomfortable meeting in large groups. Meet at the O'Connell Center parking lot between 3:45 and 4 pm. Drive with the caravan down University Ave. to the School Board of Alachua County Administration Building. Decorate your car! More info here.

Rally for Safe Reopening coordinated by concerned parents begins at 5 pm: This event will be held in front of the SBAC Administration Building. We hope to hear from teachers, parents, and students. Mask up and bring your sign! More info here.
