Picket DeSantis Thursday October 20
DeSantis is coming to our backyard! He'll be the keynote speaker at a Republican fundraiser in Alachua. Join National Women's Liberation and a coalition of local orgs for a picket to show DeSantis how we feel about his racist, sexist, anti-LBGTQ+, fascist agenda.
Location: The protest will be at the intersection of N.W. 140th St. and U.S. 441 in the City of Alachua. That is the first traffic light in the City of Alachua if you are driving there from Gainesville.
Plan to be there 5:30-7pm. Meet at 4:30pm at Civic Media Center in Gainesville if you want to carpool with us.
Alachua is 25-30 minutes north of Gainesville on 441. Public parking will be available. Bring your protest signs, chants and a friend!
