Our 2021 Roe v. Wade Anniversary Fundraiser Was a Success!

On January 22, 2021, the 48th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade, National Women's Liberation started our annual Roe v. Wade Anniversary Fundraiser. We featured nearly 40 testimonies and summaries of movement wins in women's struggle to be free in our reproductive lives. We hoped to raise $5,000 over 8 days to fund our movement work. We're thrilled to report that the fundraiser was a success! With support from individual donors we exceeded our goal: we raised a total of $7,035!

The fundraiser was made possible because of the incredible women who shared their testimony with us, Redstockings of the Women's Liberation movement (redstockings.org) who allowed us to use of archival documents, Jesse Wilson at Watkahootee Print (@watkahootee) who created beautiful artwork, and because of the many NWL organizers who worked on the event.
