NWL at Rally to Protect Abortion

Watch NWL organizer, Stephanie Kollgaard read NWL's Aid and Abet Pledge at a state-wide day of action. A coalition of organizations sent over 200 people to the Floridians for Reproductive Freedom (FRF) day of action and grassroots lobbying at the Florida Capitol. The goal of the day was to show opposition to HB 5, a bill banning all abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The bill is moving forward due to Republican majorities voting for it. The FRF coalition held a rally and speakout on the old Capitol steps to denounce the abortion ban bill and discuss next steps.
