Our 7th Annual Roe v. Wade Benefit was a success!

Thank you to everyone who made National Women's Liberation 7th Annual Roe v Wade Benefit a success. NWL raised nearly $5,600! These funds are vital to continuing our grassroots feminist work.
The event was made possible by the featured bands: Faith and Majesty, The Vagileles, Palimony and Piss Test; an incredible team of NWL organizers led by Tracy Moorman; many many many generous local businesses who contributed to the silent auction; our volunteer photographer Aleks Wilde; and by the Wooly's staff.
We believe that everyday people make change—not the government, the courts, the media, or celebrities. We believe that the freedom women have now was won by movements of women, organizing and fighting for change. We aim to build a grassroots movement of women to bring new fire to the fight for our liberation: thank you Gainesville for contributing to that fight!
Sincerely,
National Women's Liberation- Gainesville Chapter Steering Committee
